New Porch Furniture

My husband wanted to go to Cabela's (a store for camping/hunting/outdoorsy stuff) over the weekend and I didn't really feel like tagging along. I'm not a fan of guns/hunting in general, and while I've been camping plenty of times, day trips or spending the night in a cabin are more fun for me. But he likes it when I come along so I joined him.

And I had a good time.

There, I said it! :)

Things started out on the right foot when we walked in the door and were offered glazed doughnuts (my favorite!). Then we saw the huge fish tanks, which I enjoyed. The women's clothing section had some cute stuff (I bought a new dress). And the final tipping point was when we found two comfy chairs (they recline!) for our porch:

SOLD. Yes, I was hesitant to go - but it turned out to be a lovely time with my hubby. Glad I went! :)

  1. Ooh - I looove those Outdoor Stores! (though they don't sell guns here.) That was very nice that you went with your husband. And lokk - beautiful chairs :-) I love the squidgey head rests - are they as comfortable as they look?

    1. Super comfy! The head rest is a little strange when sitting upright, but very nice in the reclined position :)

  3. It IS a cute dress!

Those chairs are dangerous! Once in, with a drink to hand, I come over all Lady of the House, and call for the butler to refill my drink, when I laze in my lounge/pool chair. Reclining is soooo relaxing. Other dangerous thing is we have four people but only two lounge chairs, so you can't afford to get up or you lose your spot.

    1. I didn't even think of that - and we are having a party this weekend! I'll have to make sure I stake out my spot early on. (haha, or maybe be nice and let my guests have a try.)

Glad you like the dress! :)

  4. I've heard of Cabela's although we don't have one in my area. I like looking at technical outdoor clothing even though I don't need any. Like the dress - and the chairs!
