It's been a good week. :) Robins are considered the first sign of spring around here, and guess what Mr. G spotted last week? A robin! That robin may be regretting his decision when we get another snowstorm on Tuesday, but it was nice to see him while we could. I made bread! (Well, I put the ingredients in the bread machine, and 4 hours later, took out a perfect loaf of bread.) I am sorely disappointed by the bread selection at my local grocery store, and unless I want to pay $4-5 dollars a loaf, I can't find any that are vegetarian! So I figured if I make my own loaf 2 or 3 times a month, it'll help us save a little money over store bought. Plus, there's not much better than warm, fresh bread with butter . . And there's been a whole lot of typing going on . . Getting closer to being finished every day! How're things going for you? What's the first sign of spring in your neck of the woods?
I look forward to hearing what you think of the book!
ReplyDeleteThe premise sounds intriguing! :)
DeleteYou have probably set a record for book bloggers...the person with the smallest TBR!
ReplyDeleteHere's my Wordless Wednesday!
haha, I wish that was the only book on my TBR list! I probably have 300 on goodreads . . .
DeleteI keep thinking I have to join Goodreads. OK this time I *have* to join and not procrastinate! It would be great for tracking the "Reading Down the House" Challenge just to start with!
DeleteYes, please do! Tracking what books I've read (and want to read) on there has been so fun. And I see that I read wayyy too many kids books, haha ;)
DeleteNice book.. Love this one! ;)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you enjoyed it!
DeleteI'm trying to get caught up on what I own, but I keep buying too. I've bought 4 titles in January and read 2 so far. But also, the library books. And what I started last year. I can't imagine how much I have unread.
ReplyDeleteYes! I have 3 library books staring at me as well and I'm just not in the mood to read any of them.
DeleteThe byline leaves me very interested!!
ReplyDeleteI'm nearly finished and it's been an interesting and super quick read so far :)
